Overview

Key intern wanted to assist the Chairman & CEO of VOMI, the world’s leading and only global Virtual Organization Management education provider. Will support the Executive Committee of VOMI Global Think Tank & Advisory Board and be trained in various aspects of Virtual Organization Management. Will serve as a point of contact with both internal and external contacts and high-level executives, including domestic and foreign government officials and policy-makers. Will also be involved, under strict supervision, in planning and/or attending Board meetings; learning and using parliamentary procedures based on Robert’s Rules of Order; recording and transcribing minutes of board meeting; and helping draft Board resolutions.

Qualification Requirements:

You must be an MBA or Ph.D. Program student majoring in organizational management or a related discipline. Must have a min 3.50 GPA in your major or equivalent; a 3.75 GPA is preferred. Admission is limited only to students who will receive course credit for the internship. Please do not apply if you do not meet the foregoing requirements. As well, we require the following:

• Excellent written and oral communication, research, and writing skills
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office software
• Experience managing blogs and websites helpful, but not required
• Willingness to work under close supervision and within the constraints of tight deadlines
• Fluency in English required, additional language proficiencies (French, Chinese, etc.) are a plus

This is a 30-Day UNPAID Global-Virtual Internship, with a possibility of being extended for up to a maximum period of 90 days based on your initial performance during the first 30 days. Our internship program is Year-Round and is open to all applicants worldwide who meet our strict requirements. All selected interns who have successfully completed the maximum total of 90 days of internship will receive a $1500 stipend for tuition and education expenses subject to meeting all other stipend award requirements.
