Production Assistant
at Top Television Company in Illinois
1. Production Assistant needed immediately for a weekly half hour show covering lifestyle, arts and culture in the Chicagoland area.
2. Responsibilities include assisting all aspects of production, including research, booking, and assisting producers and editors.
Requirements:
• Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
• Must be willing to work in Chicago, IL
• Must be willing to take drug test and submit to a background investigation
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years of age
• Interested candidates must submit a resume/CV online to be considered
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism or liberal arts field preferred
• A strong knowledge of and interest in area’s arts, cultural and lifestyle offerings
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Proven organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once
• Creativity and outside of the box thinking
• Must be detailed-oriented
• Minimum 1-year experience in television production, including shooting DV footage, and editing in final cut in a deadline driven environment
• Knowledge of Final Cut Studio, Photoshop, Motion and After Effects
