This is a new, entry-level position with the Film/TV division in NY, focused on music placements in advertising and forming brand relationships with the company’s artist roster, will support and work along side the Director to form a staff of 2 devoted to being a resource for the creative and music needs of ad agencies, music supervisors & music marketing/consulting companies, audio post-production houses etc.

Requirements:

• 1+ years professional experience in music, advertising or marketing
• Must be proactive, articulate, resourceful, multi-task and detail oriented, collaborative and work well under pressure
• Extensive knowledge of all genres of music, follow music and industry blogs & websites and must have a palate for consuming large catalog of music.
• Must be able to think creatively and apply knowledge of music catalog to the context of advertising
• Handle administration duties, understands music licensing, record labels & music publishing
• Attend some times several concerts a week
• Must be comfortable with basic audio/media applications such as iTunes and FTP sites
