About.com is offering a summer design internship in 2008. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated entry level individual wishing to seek marketing, web, and interactive experience within a top internet organization.

About.com's design internship features opportunities in helping execute media deliverables, such as print collateral, interactive Ads, marketing materials, and web design.

Selected intern will be exposed to insight, new skills, and understanding of a strong internet organization. Intern will be also exposed to learning the various stages of initial concepts to final graphic solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Intern will participate in the creation of Marketing and Sales materials.
• Intern will provide various help on media-based tasks such as print advertisements and website design.
• Intern will engage and support members of the design team, such as other Designers and Creative Director.

Internship Requirements:

• Intern should be earning or finishing their BA in Graphic Design or other Interactive Media (Formal design background)
• Excellence experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver
• Good communication skills

Note: This internship will offer appropriate school credit necessary for the graduating individual. Internship is non-paid.
