Several creative independent record label interns wanted for Fall 2008!
Job Description:
Ropeadope LLC www.ropeadope.com has several internship openings for Fall 2008. Ropeadope is both a record label and a streetwear brand with excellent credibility.
Social Network Internship –
Manage Ropeadope content on social networks - myspace, mog.com, etc.. Responsibilities include communication with Ropeadope artists and management, refreshing content on all social networks, finding new networks and features.
Radio Internship –
This intern will handle all aspects of radio for the record label. Responsibilities include communication with stations worldwide, mailing physical cd’s and press kits, managing Ropeadope content on internet radio stations, finidng new opportunities for Ropeadope and our artists to increase our presence on radio.
Content Management –
This intern will manage our content for distribution to the internet. Responsibilities include collecting content from Ropeadope artists, cataloguing the content, converting content ( video, pictures, and music ) for publishing on the web and elsewhere.
Graphic Design/ Marketing –
This intern will assist our clothing and music divisions with marketing materials for the web and print. Responsibilities include designing materials, converting graphic design to be published on the internet and print. Basic knowledge of Adobe CS and HTML is required.
Worldwide Underground Marketing –
These interns will be responsible for expanding and maintaining Ropeadope’s worldwide presence on the web, in record stores, and in clothing stores. Responsibilities include research of worldwide social networks, collection and sorting of clothing and record stores, translation of ropeadope content into Spanish, Japanese, French, German, Italian . No experience necessary, but obviously language is key.
Web Design and Development –
Ropeadope is gearing up to provide the latest in web features on our sites and our social networking sites. Responsibilities include adding subscriber modules, RSS feeds, and video and audio content to our existing pages, as well as developing new pages on leading social networks. A fairly thorough knowledge of current web 2.0 applications is required.
Academic credit is preferred but not required. Travel and meals are paid by the company, but no other compensation is provided. Ropeadope interns have access to our music, clothing, and shows.
