Full-time Communication Consultants - Consumer Sales

Communication Consultants report to the Store Manager and are responsible for representing Cincinnati Bell’s brand equity in a retail setting with a high level of quality service that exceeds the customer expectations. Communications Consultants are the personal representatives of Cincinnati Bell to every customer who comes into the store. This position carries the responsibility of presenting a positive, friendly, professional and knowledgeable image to the Cincinnati Bell customer. This position is evaluated by the ability to exceed the customer’s expectations by delivering a value-added communications consulting service. How will you become a top-performing Communication Consultant?

• Assess the customer’s needs and provide optimal communication solutions that meet their needs.
• Take ownership of thoroughly understanding the features and benefits of all services and products offered, including bundles and new products and services offered.
• Thoroughly understand all aspects of the store POS system, including sales order entry, returns, exchanges, cash management reports, inventory management and reports and other applications as they may be developed
• Demonstrate superior team skills that lead and support other team members in our mission to serve the customer and operate a highly professional store operation
• Attain sales and service goals as defined by store manager and customer feedback
• Successfully demonstrate a superior application of all training provided.
• Provide consistent documented customer sales and follow up.
• Understand competitor strategies to maintain a competitive advantage

Required Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree or Bachelors degree preferred
• 1 to 2 years relevant telecommunications, sales, and customer service experience desired
• Superior Listening skills
• Technical Skills: Able to absorb demonstrate a thorough understanding of a borad range of products, services, procedures and systems
• Superior consultative selling skills, needs assessment skills, problem solving skills and integrative thinking
