Full-time Internship in Services Research

at IBM in Rhode Island

Job description
Summer intern to work within the Systems and Network Services area at IBM Research to help prototype and evaluate next generation networking tools for global technology services, particularly in the areas of Voice over IP (VoIP) deployments and the convergence of 3D Internet and mobile computing/communications. Candidates should be enrolled in a Master's/Ph.D. program in Electrical/Computer Engineering in the area of computer networking. We are looking for motivated, self-driven students with strong development skills who work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team. This work is expected to lead to a major publication in a Computer Networking/Services Science related venue

Required
• Bachelor's Degree
• English: Basic knowledge

Preferred
• At least 2 years experience in development
• At least 2 years experience in computer networking
