Full-Time Entry Level Graphic Designer
at Proforma in Ohio
Proforma is a rapidly growing, North American leader in the graphic communications industry with over 600 franchised sales offices. We are headquartered in suburban Cleveland, Ohio.
We are seeking an entry level Graphic Designer to join our Marketing Team and support our Sr. Graphic Designer in the development of all print, promotional and electronic design templates, formats and documents. This individual must be able to thrive in a fast paced, team environment with high demands on prompt communication and project delivery.
Responsibilities include:
• Graphic design skills including creation and conceptualization of printed collateral including advertisements, brochures, sales literature, catalogs, postcards and flyers.
• A working knowledge of sourcing and purchasing printed items and promotional products.
• The ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
• Work in a team environment with opportunity for collaborative efforts.
• Reinforce brand consistency and corporate identity policy.
• Incorporation of graphic design into alternate mediums such as eMarketing and Web Marketing.
• The ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines and time restrictions.
General Requirements:
Candidates must possess a minimum of 1 year of experience (including internships and freelance design) and a Bachelor’s Degree; Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator in a PC environment. Knowledge of HTML, Flash and web applications a plus. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to learn build design skills while working in a fast paced business environment and be able to integrate themselves with a Marketing Team of 7 individuals.
Computer Requirements:
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Adobe Creative Suite. PC based environment.
Experience Needed:
Exposure to promotional products, commercial printing, business documents a plus. Experience with sourcing and purchasing print and promotional items a definite benefit.
