Job Description IMAGINE AN INTERNSHIP WHERE YOU:
SEE YOURSELF AS A FINANCE INTERN:
As a Finance intern you will work on multiple projects within various Finance teams and receive a broad sense of the business units. During your internship, you will act as financial analyst and business partner for internal clients such as Merchandising, Stores, Advertising, Supply Chain, Property Development, Target India, and Technology Services. You will participate in specialized leadership development training exclusive to those in the MBA internship and will work closely with a cohort group of peers.
EXAMPLES OF PREVIOUS INTERNSHIP PROJECTS:
* Quantify the financial return of launching Global Bazaar * Determine the value of purchasing excess land for future expansion at the time new store property is purchased * Develop a more statistically valid competitive impact projection for Super Target stores * Identify causes and potential solutions to reduce need of offsite warehouses * Analyze coupon redemptions to understand what type of coupon and offer value is most effective and how this differs across departments and classesSKILLS WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
* MBA degree with strong academic performance * Excellent analytical, decision-making, project management, planning and organizational skills * Outstanding communication and relationship-building aptitude * Superior leadership skills; Director and Senior Officer potential * Entrepreneurial spirit with the willingness/ability to take risks * Assertiveness and strong initiative * Finance and business experience preferredTRAINING, SUPPORT AND BENEFITS WE OFFER:
