Job Description Purpose
As a Distribution Center Operations Intern, you will have the opportunity to make an impact in a Target distribution center as an executive in training and project leader.
In this role, you will support and lead a large team in applying cutting-edge technologies to optimize our critical supply chain network. You will acquire a significant knowledge base of supply-chain operations through a comprehensive training program. Upon completion of this internship, you will gain effective leadership and project management skills, as well as valuable insight into becoming a leader at Target. Distribution’s fast-paced culture requires dedicated people who get immense satisfaction from motivating themselves and others every day.

Minimum Requirements:
* Senior class standing or entering senior year * History of academic achievement; G.P.A. of 3.0 or higher preferred * All majors encouraged to apply; Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics Management and Business majors preferred * Participation in school or extracurricular activities and experience in leadership roles * Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations * Problem-solving skills, assertiveness and strong initiative * Team-oriented thinking * Desire to grow professionally with enthusiasm for continuous learning * Basic PC skills * Physical ability to access all levels and areas of the distribution facility * Openness to relocationSee the Rewards:
