at Command Transportation in Idaho
Command Transportation is a young, rapidly growing brokerage in the fast-paced transportation industry. Powered by a high-energy sales force working with state-of-the-art technology and equipment, Command Transportation provides it's customers with the highest levels of service. Command has been incorporated since 1997 and averaged 60% since its inception. With sales over $100 million in 2007, Command needs driven sales people for our Chicago and Saint Louis branch offices.
Divided into two departments, customer sales and carrier sales, Command Transportation salespeople must be classic multi-taskers, quickly handling new situations as they arise. The customer sales department actively sells our transportation services to manufactures & distributors who need their products shipped throughout North America. The carrier sales department, conversely, acts as our purchasing department. It is their duty to locate available trucks, trains, planes, and ships to transport our customer's products. Customer and Carrier salespeople must be able to maintain personal relationships with different people within the company as well as analyze current business trends and suggest possible improvements.
