Internship/Co-Op Shop Engineer - Baton Rouge

Responsibilities/Description:
Assist Shop Engineer & Client Service Managers in managing Repair Projects. Support the internal requirements of Machine Shop & Equipment assembly areas as well as assist with customer service. Responsible for the management of projects, specifications, repair scope, quality assurance and client reports. Assist in Engineering and operational studies. Performs independent project management assignments. Creates and updates Project execution plans and related documents. Participates in project team meetings.
Qualifications:
Engineering major. Completion of the 2nd year is required. Proficiency with Microsoft office programs.
Job Specific Responsibilities/Qualifications:
Maintain work experience record in an Engineering notebook.
Write internship report detailing assignments and how learning objectives are achieved.
Plan and execute a company project.
Present project results.
Complete DR University on-line course in major Components for each product line.
Complete DR University on-line courses in Operational Theory for each Product line.
