Title: Software Design Engineer
Location: Seattle area
You will be part of the application and setup team working on packaging the platform, and being responsible for the next generation the Auto deployment mechanisms. Applicants must be capable of coming up to speed in new technologies quickly, communicate well, write great technical specifications, and work methodically, creating high quality, clean and maintainable code, as well as writing unit testing. The developer will also be working with the WiX team themselves as bugs are fixed and features are added back into the WiX codebase for use by internal teams and the rest of the world.
Qualifications include:
The work will require advanced knowledge of .NET C#, WiX 3.0, Windows Installer and overall development architectures, as well as proven hands on C/C++ development experience (3 years). Ideally the candidate should also have working experience with large software deployment projects on Windows.
Candidates should have minimum of 3 year experience with Windows Installer as well as WIX/Heat, InstallShield, or other Setup technology. Ideally the candidate should have experience in large software deployment projects on Windows.
