Lending Assistant
at Boeing Wichita Credit Union in Wichita, KS
The primary function of this position is to deliver high quality service to the personnel of the departments of the Consumer and Business Lending and Special Accounts.
Job Expectations:
Provide both departments, vendors and their member base with consistently high quality service. As such this position will meet the following standards:
Must be able to quickly determine, meet and solve members' needs and problems via phone, email, or in person.
Must have strong communication skills and willingness to discuss with members not only their loan set-up and terms, but also their account/loan deficiencies when necessary.
Adhere to all Lending and Collection compliance guidelines.
Maintain confidentiality in all credit union and dealer/member matters.
Present a positive, successful image of the credit union through a professional appearance and courteous attitude.
Primary Duties:
The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may and will be required and assigned as necessary.
Scan documents accurately and completely to the archive program for all departments as assigned.
Work through the returned mail to determine the error and skip trace to find the member as necessary.
Make appropriate changes to any and all systems/accounts, etc. as necessary.
Research and correct any and all account related items as approved by the managers of each respective department.
Order coupon books for members as necessary for all departments as assigned.
Secondary Duties:
Perform any and all other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Hours:
Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm and Saturday as needed.
Job Requirements
Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent oral/written communication skills.
Excellent problem solving skills.
Ability to operate an adding machine, computer, and perform minor math calculations.
Fundamental knowledge of lending practices.
Fundamental knowledge of account opening procedures.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Completion of high school with diploma.
One year members' service or loan experience in financial institution.
