Temporary Laboratory Assistant

KSR offers a full-range of scientific staffing options and is currently recruiting a TEMPORARY Laboratory Assistant to work for our client, located in Tucson, AZ. This is a great opportunity for an entry-level position!
This position will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Routine operations in compound logistics
Weighing and dissolving of compounds
Preparation of compound plates
Operation of cherry-picking robotics
Maintaining equipment
Operation of compound logistics software
Plate handling and sealing
Preparation of materials for shipment
Interaction with customers
Our current customer requires the following experience and qualifications:
B.S. degree in biology or chemistry or similar required
Experience with compound logistics is highly desired
Works under the direct supervision of a scientist and must possess good communication skills
Salary: $13- 17 an hour DOE
Shift: 8am-5pm, M-F, 40 hours per week
Temporary: 1 month temporary, will be extended through 2009 if job performance meets/exceeds expectations.
