Skokie-based Marketing Department for Financial Services Holding Company seeks a data processor to join its Database Marketing team.
This is an entry-level position at an entry-level salary.
Perfect opportunity for new graduates or those looking to break into the field of Database Marketing.
The data processor will assist the Director of Market Research with Data Processing initiatives such as processing mailing lists and getting them ready for direct mail, cleaning and correcting various data quality issues, and conducting various database-related analyses and reporting.
The data processor will be trained to handle mailing lists as well as work with database ETL tools and Geographic Information Systems Software.

Qualifications:
Must be proficient in the use of computers and computer software applications.
Must be very comfortable using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel or Access.
Must have general spreadsheet knowledge; highly proficient in Excel or Access is a plus.
Must understand or have the aptitude to grasp simple programming concepts such as variables, conditional logic, loops, etc.
The following skills are preferred but not necessary:
MapInfo Professional
Experience with Postal Coding rules and regulations
Experience working with Databases and mailing lists
Understanding of Database theory (primary keys, joins, etc) is a huge plus
Experience in data cleanup issues.
Will report to the Director of Market Research.
