We are currently recruiting for an Associate Software Engineer to join our team in Richmond, VA. This role an entry level developer position that is responsible for creating and maintaining payer connections within the Payerpath product. Payerpath is a web based application that allows doctors offices and hospitals to enter claims online to be sent electronically to various insurance carriers.



Job Requirements

Responsibilities Include:

Develop edit modules to validate data entry.

Develop build units to create EDI files in the ANSI X12 format.

Develop parsing routines to translate text reports into a SQL database.

Work with various communication protocols to automate sending and receiving of EDI files.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing payer connections.

Update existing code to work with new production functionality and transition to new code base (C#).

Work with other departments as a technical resource in resolving customer support issues.
Experience/Education Required:

Bachelor’s degree or 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience with C#, VB.Net, Delphi or related language.

Experience with transact SQL.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.

Strong project management skills.
