Class Start Date: January 18, 2009
Full Time Position
Pay Range: $12.50- $15.00/ hour based on experience
Compensation will include a 5% shift differential, after training
Training Schedule:Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:45 PM (4 weeks, paid training)
Work Schedule:Sunday- Thursday; Start time is flexible between 7:00 AM to 7:45 AM

In this role you will be responsible for answering questions and resolving problems for policyholders via the telephone. You will solve problems and answer questions from policyholders, lien holders and additional insureds regarding coverages, rates and billing issues. You will process policy changes and transactions from existing policies and use computerized systems to track, gather information, and answer inquiries. You will fax policy information as requested, and stay abreast of changing procedures and processes.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum 2 years of post secondary education or 2 years work experience in a position that developed the ability to think critically, solve problems, serve customers, effectively communicate verbally and embrace new challenges.
Background/experience that demonstrates consistent job stability, including a minimum of 1 year of experience with a single employer
Proficient in computer window-based programs with excellent navigational skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to deliver caring and attentive, knowledgeable, confident, helpful, and prompt phone service.
Ability to handle stress in a call center environment.
Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
Ability to solve problems and multitask while handling customer calls.
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
