Full-time Aide to Assist People with Developmental Disabilities

at ELM Homes in Waseca, MN

Direct Care Staff (no license or certification needed!!)

ELM Homes is a community-based agency, serving individuals with developmental disabilities. We have been in operation since 1979 and provide quality services to approximately 200 consumers with various developmental and physical disabilities. Presently, ELM Homes has 55 facilities located throughout Southern Minnesota.

ELM Homes offers a flexible schedule and a wide array of positions available in many locations.

Locations: Nine counties in Southern Minnesota serving the following cities: Albert Lea, Blue Earth, Elysian, Hartland, Hayfield, Le Center, Le Sueur, Mankato, Mantorville, Montgomery, New Prague, Owatonna, Waldorf, Waseca, and Waterville.

Shifts: Vary by location. Evening, overnight, and early morning shifts available. All positions include every other weekend.

No experience needed. ELM Homes provides paid training upon hire!

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Working to promote independence, * Assisting with personal cares and activities of daily living, * Supporting consumers with challenging behaviors, * Accurate documentation, * Cooking and housekeeping

Requirements

* Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds and be able to physically intervene with consumers as necessary. * Must be 18 or older. * Must have a high school diploma or GED (preferred). * Must have good communication/comprehensive speaking and writing skills of the English language. * Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive company vehicles and background checks are required.

Salary Range: Based on Shift/Location/Experience
