Research Assistant - Anatomic Pathology

DUTIES
A temp position in the Anatomic Pathology Section of the Pathology Labs Dept. The candidate will assist with organizing and inventory of samples in the department archive, archiving specimens (bagging wet tissues, filing paraffin blocks and glass slides), database entries, and other general maintenance duties. We need an individual who understands the importance of accuracy in our work.
Requirements:
This is an entry level position. Any prior experience in necropsy or histology is desired. Good computer skills and a working knowledge of Word and Excel. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Must be able to lift at least 10 lbs.
SKILLS
Able to work in a team environmentPrevious Lab experience
