The HR Records Assistant (Temporary) for Employee Services, reporting to the Supervisor of Employee Services in Pearson US Operations Human Resources group is responsible for facilitating the administrative functions of data management for Records Retention/I-9/E-Verify, and other data functions which include general reporting and some analysis and screening. The Coordinator provides support for HR processes and programs. Processes include support for HR policies and procedures, execution of administrative responsibilities, and serving as the primary point of service for the client groups. Tasks and responsibilities must be completed accurately, efficiently, and timely. Subject to the direction of the Supervisor, the Assistant will be expected to provide support to all members of the department as necessary. This role requires an individual with a high level of integrity committed to maintaining/protecting confidentiality.

Related Work Experience:
# Experience in a process-oriented environment required.
# Data entry experience required.
# Some experience in human resources or corporate environment a plus.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
# Good written and oral communication skills particularly excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to deal courteously/effectively with others.
# Good computer skills a must. Must be familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. MS Access a plus.
# Ability to handle multiple projects and shifting priorities in a high volume work environment.
# High level of attention to detail and organization skills.
# High degree of confidentiality and professional style a must.
# Ability to work independently.
# Ability to work well within and across teams.
# Ability to deal with deadlines and pressure effectively.
# Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and ability to bend over, crouch, reach, crunch, shift positions, and move filling systems around in records room.
