The Opportunity
As an intern conducting research for our sales team you will help us expand our business and reach untapped markets across the country. More specifically, you will work with an existing list of potential clients and conduct Internet research to identify what exactly they do (the majority will be technology resellers, we’ll want to know what types of technology they sell and into what channels), as well as extract the relevant contact information. There will also be opportunities to call into these companies when the information online is not readily available, but this will be limited. Work will be performed within a schedule of 15-20 hours/per week, and you will earn $10 per hour.
The Background We’ll be Looking For
Our top candidates will most likely have done some type of research in the past and feel comfortable gleaning information off the Web. They’ll bring a can-do personality that fits our high-energy and success-oriented environment. In addition, being detail orientated is clearly important in this role, as is possessing a desire to learn what other firms do and how they conduct their business. Of course, being able to work with standard applications such as Excel, Word, I.E. and Outlook are required, but you already knew that, right?
