This is a part-time, 3-4 month internship for a local college student supporting the regional marketing department at Verizon Wireless. In this position you will:

• Conduct research on event venues and entertainment for internal and external events
• Conduct research on local event marketing opportunities
• Complete competitive research projects as needed
• Provide staffing support for internal and external events
• Administer regional recognition awards program
• Provide administrative support including shipping, copying, printing etc. Qualifications * Some college with a concentration in marketing, communications or business required.

• Must be currently enrolled in a degree program.
• Event planning a plus.
• Must have demonstrated ability to manage deadlines and multi-task.
• Strong attention to detail required.
• Must be able to work independently, as well as work within a team environment.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills required.
