Corrections Corporation of America has an opening for a marketing or communications intern. CCA offers the opportunity to work in a corporate marketing environment while providing valuable real-world experience in all aspects of communications.
Candidates should be a junior or senior in marketing, communications or public relations. The position pays $12 an hour with 25-30 hours a week required. The schedule is flexible.
Job Responsibilities:
• Writing articles for CCA publications
• Media relations, press releases
• Special event planning
• Collateral materials
• Work within all areas of the marketing department
• Administrative and organizational responsibilities as needed
Requirements
Qualifications:
• Major in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or English
• Must be a college junior or senior
• Proficiency in Word and Power Point
• Writing and journalism skills
• Previous internship experience helpful, but not required
