Entry Level Electrical Engineer

Aerotek is seeking an Electrical Engineer to work at Whirlpool Corporation, in their St. Joseph location.
This position provides laboratory support for projects to design electronic controls for Whirlpool appliances. Specifically, this position supports the development of electronic control hardware. This is accomplished through tasks that include: Modifying or preparing control prototype samples; constructing test fixtures and other set up attributes; operating generators to produce various signals; operating scopes, analyzers, receivers, and meters to take measurements on circuits.
Strong communication skills, both written and oral are needed to be effective in this position in order to be able to effectively understand test requests and product specifications for testing purposes.
This is a full time contract position, with the possibility of going direct.
