Web editor / project coordinator

Start date Oct 1
Part time – 20 hours per week – temp to perm possible
- Website project / content manager
- Point person for website project
- Liaison between Sobefit Magazine team and web team to make sure all content and data is managed
- Collect ongoing content/artwork for website and make sure posted on time according to our schedule
- Develop year long schedule of content deliverables and timing for each department and get to web team
- Make sure website functions properly
- Get data from web team for editorial purposes in a timely manner for their needs
- Monitor web traffic and get stats on monthly basis for marketing director
- Make suggestions on how to improve website
- Monitor ad words campaign / site traffic
- Develop, create, send and monitor numerous targeted email marketing campaigns, run reports, communicate with sponsors, advertising using email marketing software; manage lists, run reports, work with creative on campaigns
- Work with Publishing Manager on specific projects during the year.
Which include, but are not limited to: answering e-mails, posting replies, organizing candidates, etc.
Requirements
- Excellent writing skills.
- Technology background.
- Extremely organized and detail oriented, able to work under high pressure, deadline sensitive environment.
- Knowledge of ASP.net
- Web editing experience required.
- Previous experience working for a magazine or a newspaper required.
