Finance Intern
at Fresh Inc. in Edison, NJ
Fresh Inc., a luxury beauty/skincare company and a subisdiary of LVMH Inc., has an exciting internship opportunity available in our NJ office in the Finance Department.
Responsibilities Include:
Systems and Reporting
• Work closely with Controller and VP of Finance/Operations to learn systems, reporting functions, and budgeting.
• Assist department by implementing accurate and timely financial management reporting to both Fresh Management and LVMH.
• Help with the month end closing process of domestic and foreign subsidiaries consolidation.
• Prepare and input all required financial information into parent company systems including but not limited to monthly reporting and quarterly consolidations.
• Maintain complex consolidated financial reports using P&C reporting system.
Budgeting and Accounting
• Works closely with team on Budgets, Budget Revisions, Strategic plans, Month end and Year-end closing, and special projects.
• Assist with day-to-day accounting operations.
• Preparation of audit information.
Operations
• Meet with VP of Finance/Operations to determine cost-cutting initiatives
• Use previous observations to help determine potential risks.
• Review past reports to assist in financial planning for 2nd half and 2009 year
Ideal Candidates would possess the following:
• Finance or Business Major
• Flexible schdule
• Interest in learning about retail product marketing
THIS IS A NON-PAID INTERNSHIP, HOWEVER, WE WILL WORK WITH UNIVERSITIES TO PROVIDE SCHOOL CREDIT.
