The Desktop Administrator’s responsibility is the maintenance, administration and day-to-day support of the desktop computing devices which are owned, leased and utilized by RedPrairie.
Responsibilities:
• Phone and in-person end-users support including but not limited to:
• Build, setup, configure and maintain end-user desktop and workstations and peripherals.
• Installation of operation of standard RedPrairie office applications and operating systems.
• Setup, configuration and maintenance of mobile communication devices such as cell phones, Blackberrys, and other mobile devices.
• Recommending or requesting the procurement of peripherals or replacement parts/equipment and outside vendor services as needed for workstations and other end-user equipment such as printers, scanners, etc.
Requirements:
• Enrolled in a qualified post-secondary educational degree program.
• Minimum six months (1 semester) computer experience or college coursework
• Strong written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work alone as well as in a team/cooperative development efforts.
