The purpose of the Internship is to develop the Intern from a class room setting to real world knowledge, skills, and leadership capabilities for possible future positions at IR.

Interns will rotate between several IT job application functions throughout the program. Each assignment will be for a period of about 12 months. The initial assignment will be based on the need of the business in an Application/ERP rotation such as Business Analytics, Project Management, Oracle, CRM, etc.

To start your Internship with Ingersoll Rand; you must have:

• Have a high level of Customer Service

• Business Analysis
• Problem Solving

Objectives:

• Customer Focus: Excellent listening and communication skills, strong customer service, ability to remain calm in stressful situations and take steps to defuse them.
• Problem Solving: Strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Team Work.
• Project Management: Ability to multi-task, work in fast-paced environment, and manage multiple priorities.
• Dual citizenship across enterprise
• Knowledge & Work Experience:Experience in the following is helpful: MS-Office Products, ORACLE, PLM, and CRM.

Education & Minimum Years of Experience:

REQUIRED to be enrolled as a full time student in an accredited college IN A BACHELOR PROGRAM with at least 12 credit hours a semester and1 year of work experience.

MUST have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Interns will work part time hours while taking a full time class load.

Should be seekingacareer in anInformation Technololgy and Business Related field such as with a Computer Science, Informatica, CIS or MIS Degree
