Responsibilities include:

• Gain knowledge about and experience the interview process
• Screen resumes and triage to recruiters
• Schedule applicants for interviews
• E-mail and phone contact with applicants
• Data entry, track applicants in recruitment database and send appropriate correspondence to applicants
• Opportunities to get involved in special projects i.e. conducting internet research on recruitment related activities, creating flyers, establishing new relationships with recruitment resources, collecting recruitment data and creating reports

The ideal intern will:

• Preferably be majoring in Industrial Psychology, Organizational Psychology, or Human Resources at the undergrad level. However, we are also very open to applicants who have unrelated degrees who are interested in establishing a career in Human Resources.
• Work well in a fast paced environment
• Be self-motivated, take initiative, and work independently
• Have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
• Have self confidence and strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong typing and computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Internet research.

This is an unpaid internship opportunity for college credit or interest only.
