Online Copywriter/Marketing executive (part-time)

Red Earth Software is looking for an experienced online copywriter who loves to write! This position involves copywriting for our website, online ads, printed materials, company blog and many other marketing communications. You will be part of a small, dynamic marketing team with lots of room for initiative and growth. This position requires a self starter who can work with minimal supervision and is able to quickly master new concepts and products.
This position is part-time (approximately 20-25 hours per week).
Responsibilities:
- Write copy for our website, online ads and landing pages.
- Create white papers, case studies, and data sheets.
- Write & distribute press releases.
- Contribute to company blog.
- Write and organize promotional mailings.
- Prepare and create online product demos.
- Occasional technical writing.
Requirements:
- A strong background in copywriting (3+ years experience)
- A college degree in Marketing/Communications/Journalism or related field or equivalent experience.
- Excellent writing & communication skills.
- Able to quickly learn about new products and how to make them appeal to audiences.
- Efficient, organized, detail oriented.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is considered an advantage.
- Multi-faceted: willing to contribute beyond the typical copywriting activities.
