Position: Weather Internship (unpaid)

Department Responsibilities:
This internship is designed for students interested in pursuing a career in meteorology. The position requires either a major or minor in meteorology or atmospheric science.
Duties include:
climate research, operating the database, gathering important information and editing text for the show and or Tribune Weather Page, and answering the phone. Usually work two days a week.
Requirements:
Undergraduate (junior/senior standing) or graduate students attending an accredited university. Students must be able to obtain college credit for the internship.
DURATION/HOURS: Must be able to work a minimum of 15 hours per week* during a 13-18 week period. FALL (September – December) WINTER/SPRING (January – April) SUMMER (May – August)
