Job Description:
The position holder will work in a variety of poultry production positions in order to become familiar with the various parts of the production process. They will also gain exposure to operation support departments such as Accounting, Safety, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources, etc. Our Interns are expected to contribute to our success through innovative ideas and value creation. Based on successful performance and the talent needs of our business, Interns may have the opportunity to become full-time Tyson Team Members.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited university. Students seeking a degree in Poultry Operations or other agriculture related field are preferred.
Experience:
Previous work experience of any kind is preferred. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Computer Skills:
Basic computer skills.
Special Skills and Other Requirements:
A successful candidate for an Intern position should posses the following: Be a motivated self-starter who has the desire to learn from others; ability to work independently or as part of a team; strong problem solving skills; time managementand multitasking abilities; and strong interpersonal skills.
