Chemistry Intern-10-20 hours/week-Sorrento Valley area

Kelly Scientific Resources, a global staffing leader, is currently seeking a Chemistry Intern in the Sorrento Valley area of San Diego, CA.
This position will be responsible for performing sample preparation, making a variety of reagents and solutions, weighing raw materials, maintaining lab cleanliness and performing data entry.
The qualified candidate will either be a Junior or Senior at a 4 Year University pursuing a Bachelor's of Science degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Physics. At minimum General Chemistry with Lab, General Physics with Lab, and Calculus I classes should be completed.
Additionally, the qualified candidate will be self-motivated, eager to learn in an industry setting, excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and have a strong work ethic.
This position is an internship extending into the school year with flexible hours (hours must be worked Monday-Friday between 8-5).
Please only apply if you are attending school in the San Diego area and can commit to working 10-20 hours/week on a long-term basis.
