Sunquest Information System's College Internship Program is for talented individuals. Motivated students with high potential, especially those seeking degrees in business or human resources are encouraged to apply.
Qualification criteria
• Completed at least one year of college at an accredited four-year college or university
• 3.0 GPA or higher in a major relevant to the position(s)
• Evidence of participation and leadership in scholastic activities
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Computer proficiency
• Available for minimum two-month assignment
• Strong personal motivation to learn, contribute and grow through your Sunquest experience
Responsibilities -
1) Become familiar with the site operations of Sunquest, products and employees.
2) Set up site and remote applicant sessions with company aptitude tool.
3) Contact applicant pool via phone & internet, providing data on Sunquest, their employment process and pre-employment testing.
4) Assist with department programs as needed which may include compensation, benefits, employee relations and various surveys
5) Work with HR Generalist team on special project work as needed
Requirements
Human Resources Internship - Intern Qualifications:
• AA/AS or Bachelor's Degree HR or Business (in progress is fine)
• Prior experience with customer service and/or support
• Interest in Healthcare IT or software development as a career field
• Prior experience Word, Excel and Explorer tools
• Independent worker with strong communication, problem solving and investigative skills, an optimist at heart
• Flexible with work assignments, ability to work in a team environment
Other preferences or desired qualities/skills:
• Desire to go into Business, Human Resources or Administration fields.
• Tucson based school location no relocation assistance offered - local applicants preferred.
