Marketing Intern

We seek a bright, motivated person to assist part-time for the winter/spring with the daily efforts of our sales and marketing staff. This opportunity provides valuable exposure and experience in a sales and marketing environment. The Marketing Intern participates in the production and distribution of marketing materials and communications via traditional mail, e-mail, trade advertising, client meetings / conferences, and our web sites. He or she will also participate in event preparation, Sales support functions, and contact database maintenance.
Job Duties
• Participate in production and distribution of marketing materials and client communications.
• Prepare presentation materials and coordinate logistics for client and trade meetings.
• Enhance and maintain the client/prospect database, maintain and update contact information for mail and e-mail, and assist with recipient list generation.
• Track inventory and re-supply marketing collateral as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
Experience and Skills:
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Strong organizational and resource management skills--multi-tasking abilities required
• Proven computer skills for general business tasks (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Knowledge of PageMaker or InDesign and HTML a plus
• Enthusiastic and service oriented attitude with ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities
• Able to work well both independently and in a team environment.
