Intern - Corporate Reputation

Weber Shandwick is a leading global public relations firm. We are seeking an Intern who will assist our team in building proprietary and executive thought leadership in the areas of “reputation” and “thought leadership.” Our intellectual capital is used to help service clients and distinguish the firm. The areas that the right person would be involved might include CEO and corporate reputation, leadership transitions, reputation sustainability and recovery, online reputation management, reputation rankings and corporate communications trends.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Help maintain a database of rankings
· Conduct Internet and Factiva searches (will train on Factiva)
· Proofread data for accuracy
Qualifications:
· College or graduate school student (preferably with business concentration)
· Basic Excel skills
· Comfortable with quantitative data
· Extremely organized and detail-oriented
· Good at information gathering
· Team player
· Enthusiastic and inquisitive
· Self-starter
· Interested in business trends
· Not requirements, but definite pluses:
A desire to learn about survey research
Practical knowledge of Word and PowerPoint
The qualified candidate will work about 20 - 25 hours per week. He/she will report directly to the Vice President, Reputation Research but will also assist the Chief Reputation Strategist occasionally.
