Assistant Florist
at Kelly Services in Petaluma, CA
Kelly Services is currently hiring for a part time Assistant to a local florist. The ideal candidate will preferably be interested in learning about flower arrangements or enjoy gardening. Candidate must have a flexible schedule. The hours will approximately be 20 hrs per week M-F 1-5, with hours being extended to Saturdays in the am or pm during the busy season assisting with wedding floral delivery as needed. You must have reliable transportation as the job is located in Petaluma in addition to a clean DMV record and proof of insurance. The pay rate is $10/hr.
Duties:
Preparation of flowers/plants for arrangements, unboxing, sorting etc.
Light cleaning of Vases and other containers used for floral arrangements and plants.
Assist as needed w/local floral delivery-Must have clean DMV and proof of insurance.
Loading & Unloading Van
Light clerical duties as needed, Filing, sorting, Data Entry.
Must be able to stand, bend and lift up to 20 lbs.
