GPM Operations Internship
at Applied Materials in Santa Clara, CA
Provide general support to Global Product Management team. Candidate will get exposure on how an engineering marketing and management department runs while helping out with all aspects of product management ranging from product launches, creating presentation material to internal communication management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in creation of product launch activities
- Assist in creation of product collateral, including PowerPoint presentations
- Use and manage systems to populate and disseminate product information
- Help coordinate product communication activities such as newsletter, brown bag series, internal website, etc.
Skills and Abilities:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Powerpoint, Excel, Word)
- Good communication skills very important — work with people from all over the world.
Education and Experience:
Getting a Bachelors degree in either Sales, Marketing or Finance.

- Student must be pursuing a valid degree program in which he/she will graduate with a degree appropriate and useful for work within Applied Materials.
- All college interns/co-ops, must maintain enrollment in a degree-seeking program and be in good academic standing at their university, with a GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale
- Transcripts will be required periodically to confirm eligibility.
- Previous summer work helpful.
