Job Description:

Antioch University Los Angeles is small, accredited, non-profit institution in Culver City, passionate about our values such as social justice, community engagement and lifelong learning. We are looking for an intern to work with our in-house designer and Director of Communications. This is an excellent opportunity to assist on a variety of design projects including newspaper ads, banner ads, brochures, event invitations and more. Gain valuable experience participating in a friendly creative team while enlarging your portfolio with published work.

Most projects will be print-based and production-oriented, as you’ll be working on items based on existing style guidelines.

We will work around the intern’s school schedule; however, a regular weekly schedule of 10-15 hours required onsite for at least three months.

Job Requirements:

Candidates should be proficient in using Mac OS X, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat. The ideal intern is creative, proactive, comfortable taking direction, asking questions, and pitches in when needed. Experience working with print vendors and with online vendors is a plus.

Candidates looking for college credit are preferred. A stipend may be available.
