Entry Level Java Web Developer

We are looking for an entry-level programmer with a 4 year degree, BA or BS in Computer Science/Engineering or related field preferred.
The position will involve maintenance of a large Java, PHP, Perl and Python codebase as well as new projects primarily in Java and Python. Deployment is a mixed Solaris Unix/FreeBSD environment, and development is done in Fedora/Ubuntu Linux and Windows on the Eclipse platform. We are embarking on several exciting new projects and need developers who can take initiative and suggest new ideas in addition to being technically competent. Knowledge of modern Web application programming technologies and methodology is a plus - frameworks (like Struts, Pylons, or Django), MySQL and ORMs (like Hibernate, SQLAlchemy or ActiveRecord), XML, CSS, and Javascript. More important is the ability to learn quickly, evaluate and choose the right tool for a problem and think on your feet. This position is for full-time employment with Net-Temps as a developer responsible for new feature development on our web and internal systems.
