The Schools Solutions Group, a division of McGraw-Hill Education, has an immediate entry-level opening for an Associate Photo Editor to work on a contractual basis in our Woodland Hills, CA office.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for photo research and acquisitions, maintaining flow of acquisition within scheduled and budget requirements.
• Maintain accurate spec records, image status, and schedules, as well as monitor project image research/acquisition for appropriateness, fair representation, accuracy, timeliness, quality, and efficiency.
• Research and seeks photo vendors to meet project requirements and update vendor information.
• Maintain and provide accurate image data entry, reporting, documentation, current photo production schedules, and provide accurate and complete photo credit information.
• Individual is responsible for clear and timely communication of project requirements, status, and solutions to vendors and team members.
• Must be able to understand and communicate digital and analog photo reproduction requirements.
Required:
• Bachelor's Degree, preferably with an emphasis in art or photography.
• Must have strong problem solving, organizational, and scheduling skills.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office product including Word and Excel.
• Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to lead a team as well as follow the direction of others.
Desired:
• Previous experience with image research and acquisition.
• Expertise in Photoshop is a plus.
