Jake Sasseville is 22-years-old and he is the host and executive producer of THE EDGE WITH JAKE SASSEVILLE. At 22, Jake has cleared his show after Jimmy Kimmel Live! on ABC affiliates nationwide. He hosts an annual college tour, he speaks at some of the top Universities in the country, he is creating a business show for GEN Y and licensing THE EDGE to international markets. He is working hard on behalf of children by building a school in Malawi in 2008/09. He also hosts the weekly talk show within a late night talk show. THE EDGE began airing on ABC affiliates in February and the ratings have skyrocketed - beating Conan and Ferguson in a few of the southern markets.
We give you this information not to impress you, but impress upon you the VARIETY that is this company's spice of life. We're looking for a super cool, right hand man/woman who can help Jake and his senior team with his production and distribution company and non-profit organization. We seek someone who is organized and loyal, someone who can coordinate with Jake's publicist and PR team, purchase clothing for the show and be involved with day-to-day creative ideas for the show and its properties. Most importantly, the RIGHT person will be able to implement projects from concept to completion, be creative and versatile, without having anyone checking in on them.
You will be an integral part to forging new partnerships and developing strategies with Jake and his COO (who's a former Viacom exec). You'll also be asked to field and present various requests to the team and work with Jake to be organized as he's shooting each season of the show, traveling for press, building new business relationships, on tour, etc..
You will be coordinating between various departments within the company (new media, production, business marketing, etc.) and will be asked to participate in all angles. You'll also maintain and be a part of Jake's schedule each day.
